This was our home for several years, and a magnificent refuge from the many exciting things happening in town, with the French Quarter about 15 minutes away. This bright, third-floor apartment is in a gated complex right on the banks of Lake Pontchartrain and offers a sweeping view of the water. It’s only a 25 minute drive from the New Orleans Fairgrounds and 35 minutes from the French Quarter. It’s just minutes from I-10, but it has a quiet atmosphere with a touch of nature. It’s a place to relax on the balcony or by the pool after a busy day exploring the city. The apartment is very quiet with abundant parking and spectacular sunsets. This apartment is on the top floor with a beautiful view of lake Pontchartrain from the balcony. It is furnished with an East Asian flare that accentuates its breezy, open feel. There are two bedrooms with new gel memory foam mattresses, and one Jack and Jill bathroom. The master bedroom has an oversized walk-in closet and there are three additional closets available for use. There is also an air mattress and extra bedding available if needed. There are many books to peruse and a printer available. The kitchen is fully equipped with kitchenware, coffee and tea supplies, and a dishwasher. There is also a washer and dryer with detergent and other cleaning supplies. Guests are encouraged to sit in the hammock on the private balcony to watch the brilliant sunsets over the lake. Guests are also welcome to take advantage of the fishing pier, swimming pool, and onsite gym. As a guest in the apartment you will have access to every corner of the space. It’s 5 miles across the Hwy 11 bridge to New Orleans and is less than 30 minutes to the French Quarter, Super Dome, Jazz Fest and Essence Fest. If traveling East, the House is 35 miles to the Casinos along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets into the lake while sitting poolside or from the upstairs balcony. The porch which wraps around the whole house that will give you shade and a pleasant breeze anytime of the day. If you love fishing and crabbing, this is the place. Fish and crabs can be caught off the pier without a boat. Fish all day and night under the bright lights that shine on the water to attract fish. There is a boat launch 1 mile away. Bring your own boat and jet skis. Fishing charters are available. Plus, as of this posting the boat launch was renting boats. There is no problem finding a spot to sunbath. The grounds spaciously accommodate outdoor activities like volley ball, football and cabbage baseball. The swimming pool is completed. We added water on 4/5/21. It's a saltwater pool. It will be ready to swim in 2 weeks. Getting married? This is a beautiful location for a wedding reception and pictures. A perfect romantic wedding location. On the ground floor is 3800 sq. ft. of paved covered area for bar-b-q, parking cars or hanging out. We can cater your event too. There are a total of 12 beds which are 5 king beds, 2 queen beds and 5 full beds. The house has four full baths and two ½ baths. The house has a complete kitchen, and a laundry room on each floor with a washer and dryer. We have high-speed wifi. Towels, linens, soap, hair dryers, iron and ironing board are provided. This large lot has parking for several cars. This is a great Home for Family Vacations and Getaways. The house is close to many restaurants, groceries, shopping malls and more. No Smoking. No Pets. Early check-ins are available at $100 per each hour prior to 4:00 p.m. Late check-outs are free if available.

The Tenants shall not sublet the property. 8. The Tenants shall not be permitted to have more than the number of persons stated above to reside or sleep on the premises. If you have more than the number of people residing or sleeping in your apartment as set forth above, we have the absolute right to deduct this money out of your security deposit or charge your credit card with the amount that is pre authorized at a rate of $100 per night per extra person. 9. The Tenants shall behave in a civilized manner and shall be good neighbors respecting the rights of the surrounding property owners. The Tenants shall not create noise or disturbances likely to disturb or annoy the surrounding property owners. Creating a disturbance of the above nature shall be grounds for immediate termination of this agreement and Tenants shall then immediately vacate the premises. Quiet hour starts at 9 PM and Pool and outdoor noise should be kept to a minimum. 10. There shall be no smoking inside the actual property. This is a Non-Smoking property and as such the owner of this unit STRICTLY PROHIBITS any smoking inside the property. If there are ashtrays outside please feel free to use it at the designated smoking areas. 11. By initialing below, you are agree to not smoke or have pets within or about the premises or cause excessive damage and you unconditionally authorize a $1000 charge against your credit card upon receipt by of any evidence establishing you have violated any of the above provisions. 12. Landlord shall provide towels, linens, cups, knives, forks, spoons, dishes, and other items as commonly used by the Landlord’s family. Toilet paper, soap, dish detergent, laundry soap, shampoos, and other consumables will also be provided by the landlord. No reimbursement will be made for unused consumables left at the premises. If consumables exist at the premises when the Tenant arrives the Tenant is free to use them. 13. The Tenant hereby waives any right to sue for negligence unless its gross negligence or intentional misconduct of Landlord. Tenant is responsible for the care and safety of all people on the premises of the property including any guests of Tenant. The unit is not designed to be child safe as such children should always have adult supervision. Tenant waives any right to use Landlord for any action or inaction or negligence of any 3rd party including any association. The Tenants and Tenants\' Guests shall hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Landlord against any and all claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from use of the premises regardless of the nature of the accident, injury or loss. Rental Deposit is 50% refundable if a written cancellation notice is received by the Landlord up to 180 days prior to the commencement date of the rental period. If no cancellation notice is received by the Landlord within 180 days of the commencement date of the rental period, the Landlord, at its sole and exclusive discretion, shall have the right to retain the full Rental Deposit and payment amount. If a deposit is received for a rental period which is less than 160 from the commencement date, the Landlord, at its sole and exclusive discretion, shall have the right to retain the full Rental Deposit and payment amount. 15. Tenants agree to pay all reasonable costs, attorney's fees and expenses that shall be made or incurred by Landlord enforcing this agreement. Governing Law, Jurisdiction and Venue, Waiver of Right to Trial by Jury. This Agreement shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana. If any action is brought between the parties with respect to this Agreement or otherwise, by way of a claim or counterclaim, the parties agree that in any such action, and on all issues related to this Agreement or otherwise, the parties irrevocably waive their right to a trial by jury. Exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any such action shall be the State Courts of Orleans Parish, Louisiana. In the event suit or action is brought by any party under this Agreement to enforce any of its terms, or in any appeal therefrom, it is agreed that the prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable attorneys fees at trial and all appellate levels. 16. Tenants expressly acknowledge and agree that this Agreement is for transient occupancy of the Property, and that Tenants do not intend to make the property a residence or household. 17. Tenant is further notified to be cautious when exiting the rear of the condo/home as the pool is open and in close proximity to the entry ways and can be a hazard. There are no rails to prevent a fall into the pool. 21. Only legally owned and permitted firearms shall be allowed on the premises according to State and local laws. 22. Tenant agrees that Fireworks and other hazardous materials shall not be used in or around the property. 23. Tenant shall use the property for legal purposes only and other use, such as but not limited to, illegal drug use, abuse of any person, harboring fugitives, etc.; shall cause termination of this agreement with no refund of rents or deposits 24. Tenant agrees not to access the 'owner’s closet', even if unlocked, which contains cleaning supplies and chemicals that could be hazardous to children and adults. General Description: Newly remodeled guest house with private access through side alley way. Detached building is behind the main house; you can come and go as you please. 2 blocks from Lake Ponchartrain with its walking & biking path. 15-20 minutes from downtown and the French Quarter. Accommodations: The full/double size bed can accommodate 2 persons. (Please note: It is NOT a queen size bed.) We do have a twin size air mattress if needed for a third person or a child, but obviously it is not as comfortable as the bed. No other sleeping arrangements are available. Bathroom has a shower. There is a window heating and air conditioning unit that can be adjusted to your comfort level as well as a ceiling fan. A mini-refrigerator and microwave are provided in the unit. We have a large horseshoe shaped driveway in front of our house for convenient off street parking of your vehicle. Guest Access: To gain access, you will enter through the gate located in the front of the main house on the left. Keys to the rental will be provided in person upon your arrival. You will also have access to the back yard and patio area. Interaction with Guests: The guest house area will be all yours. The main house area will be ours. For the most part, there will be someone home or we can be reached by phone. We are very happy to help you with questions about restaurants, directions or attractions. We have guide books and maps in the guest house, as well as other reading material. The Neighborhood: Our neighborhood is called Ponchartrain Shores. Our house is located just 2 blocks from Lake Ponchartrain. There is a walking/bike path along the shoreline. The French Quarter, Superdome and downtown are about 10 miles away. The Fair Ground Race Course (where Jazzfest is held) is 9.8 miles away. Clearview Shopping Center is about 2 miles away and Lakeside Shopping Center is about 3 miles away. Two grocery stores are within a one mile radius of our house. In case of an emergency, East Jefferson Hospital is about 1.5 miles away. Getting Around: If you do not have a car, bus service is about 2 miles away on Veterans Boulevard. Taxi or Uber service would be more convenient. Other Things to Note: We have 2 small dogs who will be in the back yard at various times during the day. There is basic TV in the guest house and we do have WIFI access

This beautiful lake house is located on lake Catherine side of chef menture hwy. There’s 2 bedrooms with full size beds and a bunk room with 3 bunk beds. The camp has 1.5 bathrooms with a rinse off spot under the house. It has a nice size back porch and a connecting pier with a dock at the end for fishing or relaxing. There are 10 crab traps tied on the pier for your availability:) there is a lower part to the dock where you can tie your boat or jet ski to the dock. Plenty of parking! Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, and pans. We also have WiFi :) This property is about 30-40 min from downtown New Orleans.
